Our Regular Concert Series goes from strength to strength, featuring many professional as well as top amateur performers. Many of the artists have performed at very prestigious venues and we are thrilled that they have agreed to perform for us at our Church.

There is always a variety of music styles and artists during the Concert Series, which we hope will appeal to a wide audience. Our Concert Series offers the opportunity to hear top performers at a local venue, in an intimate setting, but best of all, at very reasonable prices.

Some names you may recognise who have performed here since our Regular Concert Series began in 2005 include The Fron Male Voice Choir, Nigel Ogden (BBC Radio 2’s Organist Entertains), Eira Lynn Jones (International Concert Harpist), Carlo Curley (American Organ Virtuoso), David Poulter (Director of Music, Liverpool Anglican Cathedral), Julia Platt & Richard Lea (Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral), The Dee & Alyn Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Interlude (Chester’s Musical Revue Company), Gresford Handbell Ringers, Waverton Handbell Ringers, The City of Chester Male Voice Choir, Chester Ladies’ Choir and Chester Music Society’s Junior Choir. SATURDAY 31 JULY 7.30pm
Keith Hearnshaw – "Concerts With A Difference"
	Keith's concerts are wide and varied, so don't miss this opportunity to hear and see a different way to present the organ in a popular style, including the use of a HD Video Screen Presentation. Keith is in increasing demand as a Concert Organist, playing a growing number of solo concerts each year. Keith does great things to promote the organ and in 2007 he recorded the sound track for "Dan and the Magic Musician", an animation to inspire youngsters to take up the Organ. Saturday 18th September 7.30pm
Charity Concert for Christian Aid
	Following the success of their concert for Christain Aid in 2009, which raised over £600, Angela & John Evans will be leading another evening of popular music from Stage, Film and TV with Popular Classics and Organ Lollipops. Admission by £6 donation

SATURDAY 16 OCTOBER 7.30pm
The Fron' Male Voice Choir with guest organist, John Evans
	No need to say more that the awarding winning FRON Choir's previous two visits have been sold out well in advance of the concert, so avoid disappointment and buy your ticket in good time! John Evans has developed a reputation for providing a more easy listening approach to organ concerts and regularly receives requests to perform at other venues. Friday 3rd December 7.30pm
Nigel Ogden presenter of BBC Radio 2’s Organist Entertains
	Hear and see Nigel with the added bonus of HD video Screen Presentation. This concert will also mark the start of our Christmas Tree Festival to help you get into the spirit of Christmas. Tickets £10 including refreshments. Nigel Ogden on the BBC website

In addition to the Concert Series, Hamilton Street is very musically active. The Church Choir takes part in our 10.30am Sunday Morning Service, usually singing at least two items. They also help lead special services, at Easter, Church Anniversary, Harvest, Advent and Christmas.
