Regular Groups
Ladies Circle
We are a small group of Christian ladies who meet for fellowship on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday
every month at 7pm (except July and August). Our meetings are friendly, lively and varied e.g. speakers,
flower arranging, craft evenings and quizzes. We also have both a summer and winter outing including a meal.
All Welcome.
Prayer Fellowship
Prayer fellowship is held every Wednesday at
10:30am and lasts one to one and a half hours including tea
and biscuits towards the end. Meetings are held at various members'
houses as advised in the church notices. Each meeting is based on
the Methodist Prayer Handbook as well as the booklet of
Daily Prayers for and by Chester and Stoke-on-Trent Methodist
District.
Our church members are divided into about a dozen pastoral groups
and each week one of these groups is chosen to be included in our prayers.
At the prayer fellowship each person is prayed for individually.
People within the chosen pastoral group
are also added to the the weekly notice sheet inviting all members
to include them in their prayers.
Prayer Fellowship also prays for others in special need of prayers,
including Church members and friends known to them.
